Step 3: Vote and return your ballot

When you receive your ballot, follow the directions and return it fast!

There are 2 ways to return your Florida mail-in ballot:

  1. Mail it to your County Election Supervisor, at least 1 week before election day. It must be received (not just postmarked) by 7PM on Nov 3rd to count!

You can find your county election supervisor's address here: https://dos.elections.myflorida.com/supervisors/

  2. Return it in person, at a secure dropbox at your county election supervisor's offices, OR an early voting polling site in your county.

You can find your county election supervisor's phone number here: https://dos.elections.myflorida.com/supervisors/

IMPORTANT:

If you change your mind and decide to vote in person after you have received your Florida mail-in ballot, you must turn it in at your polling place to be canceled.

IF YOU DO NOT, YOU MAY NOT BE ABLE TO VOTE!

You can find out more about mail-in voting here: https://dos.myflorida.com/elections/for-voters/voting/vote-by-mail/

ALTERNATIVE: Early voting

Florida offers early voting for every county, starting no later than Oct 24th and ending no sooner than Oct 31st.

Your election supervisor may offer additional days, so check with them— once again, you can find their contact information at https://dos.elections.myflorida.com/supervisors/
